We believe that we can only grow as an organization by continuing to learn about our consumers and the categories we participate in and, similarly, believe our employees’ growth is inevitably tied to giving them the tools they need to develop.

Our Employee Development programs offer foundational instruction on Company culture during onboarding and provides employees additional learning opportunities throughout their career.

A Spirit of Holistic Learning

Our Employee Development team is as passionate about devising engaging sessions as they are developing helpful curriculum. They believe strongly in offering interactive training that will truly resonate and they approach each course with this expectation.

In addition to our core training, we are also interested in micro-learning opportunities and ways to further expand our employees’ education and awareness. One example of this is our Peer Connections program.

These virtual sessions help employees realize greater compassion and kindness by focusing on self-compassion and gaining a stronger sense of self-awareness. The sessions include open dialogue so employees can hear and reflect on others’ challenges and successes to offer context and a greater appreciation for their own experiences.

Teaching the Teachers

Successful managers are more than top performers they must be leaders. Realizing this requires a vulnerability and an understanding of one’s opportunities for development. This self-awareness begets self-compassion which inspires positive behaviors and encourages positive emotions. And that positivity flows down from leaders to our employees and creates a more optimistic work environment.

We encourage our people managers to practice resonant leadership – educating them on the importance of emotional intelligence and providing them training on how to manage with mindfulness. In addition to helping our people managers consider the needs of each employee, our people management experiential learning gives them a unique appreciation for the value of continuous learning and development – ensuring they not only recognize the benefit of the learning opportunities provided but promote them and make it easy for their employees to take advantage.
